Alderney’s Best Beaches

AlderneyAlderney boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the Channel Islands. With clear blue sea and soft yellow sand a plenty your only dilemma is which one to head for!

Here are our top 5 best beaches:

Braye Beach – a great sandcastle beach. It is sheltered from Alderney’s famous breakwater.

Saye – nestled between Braye Beach and Arch Bay. Saye backs onto the islands only campsite.

Longis Beach – half a mile sandy beach protected from the wind by a wall built in German occupation. A favourite for rock poolers and sunbathers.

Corblets Beach -a favourite for surfing. This beach is completely cut off by rocks at high tide.

Platte Saline – a favourite for nature lovers and fishermen due to the vast wildlife. Swimming is not permitted here due to severe undertow.
