Alderney Week Cavalcade

Raft competition

The main Summer season starts in a gentle way in Alderney with a vegetable, flower and craft show before the madness of Alderney week takes over! A great time to visit, the sheer variety of events taking place during the week will keep everyone happy. Further on in the month there’s chances to do a spot of guided stargazing and motor, air and marathon races as well as an open golf championships will keep competitive people happy. Living Islands are also running a series of events focussed on the archaeology on the island. View our what’s on guide for dates and further information.

Alderney Vegetable, Flower & Craft Show
Traditional show organised in conjunction with Alderney WI.

26 July

Living Islands Live Archaelogical Event
Find out about conservation work on some of the bunkers and German defences situated on the island.

Alderney Week
The 68th annual Alderney Week festival with non stop entertainment. Cavalcade Day takes place on 3rd with the finale torchlight procession on 8th.

Annual Alderney Motor Sprint and Hill Climb
Watch the thrills of competitive motor racing around a stretch of the island. Organised by Guernsey Kart & Motor Club.

Activities for all from the Living Islands team.

19th Annual Alderney Air Races
Organised by Alderney Flying Club, competitors from the British Isles take to the skies in a two 100 mile races.

Christina's early memories include boarding a plane to visit Kuwait at the age of two and taking big family holidays in Scotland, Cornwall and France.
